About the Item

Set of 2 armchairs, model Rungstedlund, designed by Ole Wanscher and produced by P. Jeppesen in the 1960s. The chairs are made of mahogany and upholstered with light fabric, which gives them a classic and elegant look. The Rungstedlund chairs are a good example of Wanscher's focus on craftsmanship, where both aesthetics and comfort are carefully considered. Ole Wanscher (1903-1985) was a prominent Danish architect, furniture designer and author. Wanscher was known for combining classical furniture traditions with modern functionality, resulting in timeless designs. He became a professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1955, succeeding his mentor, Kaare Klint. Dimensions: H:77cm W:53cm D:44cm SH:44cm
