About the Item
Aluminum lounge Chair by Herman Miller (Vitra) after a design by Ray and Charles Eames from the late 1950s. Here in the rare, early version of Miller with the original foot shape and the elegant seesaw.
An elegant design classic with black hopsak and chrome frame. The Hopsak reference is in very good condition and was also professionally cleaned by the Vitra service. Small pillows are attached at the head end of the seat shell. The armchair is rotatable and still has the original version of the 4-star foot. The armchair can be tilted back over a joint. The chrome-colored seesaw and the curved intake of the seat shell of this early version is far more elegant than the current version in black. The armchairs are in very good condition and have hardly any signs of use and aging. The Hopsak was professionally cleaned by the Vitra Service.
