About the Item
Seating group from the series 77 by Schlapp-Möbel after a design by Gerd Lange from the 70s.
A very straightforward design, which convinces by its construction and materiality. The frame elements made of solid beech wood are partly inconspicuously connected by elaborate joining techniques and partly visibly staged. The round frames hold the frame elements together with large screws. These black connecting screws with the large washers thus become a striking design feature on the front of the armchairs. The upholstery shows a rough structure. The black and brown threads are recognizable and unite to form a dark brown overall impression. There are 2 armchairs with armrests and 2 without. The armchairs without armrests are stackable and easy to store. This piece has an attribution mark.
