About the Item
A fine set of early 19th Century Armchairs, possibly Scottish, with fine form including an interesting back splat, serpentine arms, floret and carved frame decoration and tapering legs with peg foot. Very well made and with solid joinery, the chairs are covered in a tan faux leather with full surround nail-head trim.
Dimensions: 20” wide by 17.75” deep by 35” high. Seat height 17.5”.
Condition: Please see detail photos. Various signs of age include nicks and sporadic finish losses to the chair frames and two of the seat with tears and some staining. Despite the time borne wear, the set presents in a particularly fine Antique manner.
