About the Item

A pair of light lime green velvet armchairs, designed by Edmund Homa, a Polish architect, designer of Industrial Design and interior architecture, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. The armchairs were made in the 1960s in the Gosciecinska Furniture Factory. They are made from solid beechwood. The GFM type armchair is regarded one of the best Polish armchair design from the previous age. The armchairs have been thoroughly renovated. The tension belts have been changed, new upholstery foams. Beautiful antique chess table from the 1960s. It was manufactured in Poland in 1960s. The table was made of wood and veneer plywood, it was refreshed. Very good original vintage condition. Table size: 60cm, height 57cm. The set looks really amazing all together.
