About the Item

Set of two Bonanza armchairs, designed by Esko Pajamies, manufactured by Asko, Mid-20th Century. Oak frame. Reupholstered seats with Ludvig Svensson -fabric. The frame is refinished. Good vintage condition, minor patina consistent with age and use. The armchairs are sold as a set. Esko Pajamies (1931-1990) graduated as an interior architect from the School of Art and Design in 1954. Pajamies specialised in furniture design from an early age. His unprejudiced design was strongly characterised by durability and functionality, implemented with insightful technical solutions. He is best know for the Bonanza- and Hopeasiipi -furniture sets.
