About the Item

Wrought iron and rattan chair, 1970s, Valenti Magnificent armchair made of wrought iron and rattan around the 1970s, by the prestigious Spanish designer Valentí. With great elegance and aesthetic strength, this chair is large and powerful. It features a simple and timeless structure made of wrought iron, with a hammered effect and sinuous profiles forming a tuft, with galvanized armrests and legs. The seat and back are made of rattan, which is tightly woven into a pattern. Thanks to its strong and durable materials, this chair is also perfect for outdoor use; it can even be placed in a garden or on a terrace. Indoors, it adds a fresh and modern touch to any space. The combination of rattan and wrought iron was very common in furniture in the 1960s and 1970s, and is enjoying a strong resurgence today.
