About the Item
Eccentric antique giltwood and velvet armchair from the late 1800s and early 1900s, fine Italian manufacture.
The armchair has a frame made entirely of curved gilt wood, very elegant and very pompous.
The shapes are very sinuous, 4 curved legs support the armchair.
The backrest, on the other hand, is also curved and through a mastery of the curvature of the wood, two small armrests seem to be born that connect to the semicircular sinuosity of the backrest itself.
The upholstery is entirely in electric blue velvet, a perfect contrast to the gold.
The armchair is suitable for period living rooms or eclectic areas with mixed and homogeneous styles.
