About the Item
A vintage Burmese country style hand woven rattan armchair from the mid-20th century, with rounded open back, looping arms and side stretchers. We currently have several chairs available, priced and sold individually. Created in Burma during the Midcentury period, this country style armchair attracts the attention with its rustic flair and simple lines. The chair features a slightly slanted back with arching upper rail and central splat, connected to two looping arms. Presenting a hand woven rattan seat, the chair is raised on four straight legs mounted on petite feet and connected to one another through side stretchers. With its simple lines, country inspiration and natural patina, this vintage Burmese hand woven rattan armchair from the mid 20th century will make for a lovely addition to any home, placed indoors or outdoors, particularly under a covered patio!.
