Elegant French armchair from the 1950s with a solid oak frame and newly reupholstered alpaca fabric in a soft neutral tone. The design carries a subtle resemblance to the work of Jean Royère, with curved armrests and refined proportions that give the chair a quiet, sculptural presence.
Wear consistent with age and use. Old repair on one of the backrests. Shows minor play in the frame when handled, consistent with age, but remains stable in use.
