A pair of rare sculptural Mid-Century lounge chairs, so called "Ry-Wing", designed by Elsa and Nordahl Solheim for Rybo Rykken
Co., Norway, circa 1970s. These stunning Scandinavian armchairs embody the warmth, organic beauty, and timeless sophistication that define mid-century Nordic design. The pairing of gracefully bent beechwood frames and rich cognac leather upholstery creates a striking balance between rustic charm and modern elegance.
Their tactile materials, sculptural silhouettes, and natural patina exude comfort and authenticity, making them ideal for refined interiors, whether placed in a hotel lounge, reading corner, design studio, or gallery-inspired living space. These chairs perfectly capture the Scandinavian ethos of functional artistry, offering both visual appeal and effortless relaxation.
Each low-slung chair features deeply cushioned seats and backs, enhanced by internal tufting for added softness and dimension.
