About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale this fully stamped, original Mart Stam 1-06G, Marcel Breuer S34 armchair in brown leather circa 1980’s I have a matching set of six of these listed under my other items exactly the same as this chair, I then have another set of six unbranded in black, again listed under my other items, lastly as very fine set of vintage aged tan leather Fassim chair, these last suite will be listed shortly This one is a good find, this is one of the most famous and iconic chairs ever made, it has won awards, been exhibited in museums and so on, they are super comfortable and have a lovely flex to the frames Condition wise we have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished the leather, it is all period correct with a vintage finish to the hide and frame, it has lots of nice good honest patina so if your looking for a brand new set this isn’t it. This screams art modern sophistication Dimensions Height:- 80cm Width:- 59.5cm Depth:- 56cm Seat height:- 46.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point This item is available for collection from our Pulborough warehouses Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
