This fabulous traditional classic Chippendale open armchairs are exceptionally designed, and hand-crafted in the style of Thomas Chippendale, circa 1760.
Hand-carved walnut by skilled artisans using high-quality materials.
Features a shell-carved crest rail with ears above an interlaced pierced back splat and leafage carving with volutes.
The shaped-out curved arms rest ends with elegant floral carving, front cabriole legs with leafage carving at the knee ending in ball and claw feet, slip seats and a rear stretcher.
Smith and Watson have carried the excellence of the eighteenth century successfully into the twenty-first century, a London furniture shop based in New York City since 1907.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. In good vintage condition and look absolutely wonderful. Fabric is in excellent condition. The wood frame and arms are in very good condition, have a few minor hairline scratches and small nicks. a small repair to one arm has been done at some point.
