W.D. Andersag lounge chairs teak and leather, Italy 1959
Outstanding, fully restored pair of so-called 'hunting' lounge chairs created by W.D. Andersag and manufactured by Ideal Piacenza, Italy, 1959. This dynamic-shaped pair of lounge chairs have a solid wooden frame, and thick leather is used for the seats. The new dark leather seats are fixed with small leather laces to the edge, which is an excellent detail. Newly upholstered cushions in sheepskin are a nice discrepancy with the black leather. These hunting lounge chairs have a super form and supply great comfort. The chair has fantastic lines, and the combination of dark leather and brown wooden frame gives these chairs a dynamic appearance. Good-looking form and wonderful patina from age and usage to the whole bring character to this lovely set. They are priced and sold in a set of 2.
