About the Item
The Zeta Armchair, also referred to as the “Z Chair”, was designed by American designer Paul Tuttle and manufactured by Strässle International in Switzerland during the 1970s. The chair features a Z-shaped cantilevered chrome frame, which supports a seat and back upholstered in black leather.
The frame design allows for a slight rocking motion, combining the comfort of a soft, aged leather cushions with a distinct structural form.
Origination: Switzerland, 1970s. Labelled by Strässle.
Condition: Good, overall. Signs of use and age on the chrome finish.

Paul Tuttle
Paul Tuttle was born in Springfield, Missouri, and lived in St. Louis until World War II. As an Air Force cartographer, he was stationed in India, where the architecture and landscape influenced his pursuit of a design career.
