1940’s English Cast Metal Church Benches – Several Available 1940’s English Cast Metal Church Benches – Several Available. We occasionally come across cast metal benches, mainly from stations or public buildings, unusually these are from a church community hall in Lincolnshire. The bases are made from very elegant cast metal with a stunning square support detail securing the original pitch pine seats. The slats on the seats and backs are original. Very rare elegant benches in stunning condition, our workshop has gently serviced them, they are strong and stable. WORKSHOP REPORT Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
