About the Item
1950's French upholstered chairs and settee by Swiss furniture maker Emile Baumann in Colombier Fontaine, France. They have a warm, honey-colored patina, barrel back form, shaped frame, and splayed legs. In good antique condition with some surface wear consistent with age and use. Each piece is extremely sturdy. The upholstery of the settee is very good; one chair has three small tears at the front of the seat. See last photo. Labeled on the bottom.
