About the Item

A dark-brown, antique Baltic long bench with two pillows made of hand carved Mahogany, in good condition. The three seater sofa, settee is standing on four paw feet with pinecones as pinnacles and elaborately carved armrests in the form of dolphins with volute-shaped struts. The arched canapé represents the First French Empire time period, era also known as Napoleonic France. Newly upholstered in a white-grey silk. Minor fading, scratches due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1830 - 1850, Baltic States. Seat: 19.75" H x 78” W x 25” D Pillows: 20” H x 20” W x 7” D
