Constructed entirely by hand, it employs vinhático and sucupira, two noble hardwoods highly prized in the 18th and 19th centuries for their strength, longevity, and expressive grain. Measuring 138 cm in width and 127 cm in height, the bench displays the sober and functional elegance typical of Minas Gerais country interiors. The thick plank construction, mortise-and-tenon joinery, and gracefully shaped side supports recall the vocabulary of colonial oratories and farm seating.
