A beautiful English Baroque bench. Unique fabric seat upholstery with floral patterns and shields. Beautiful acanthus leaf details on walnut scrolled arms and legs. Made in the 19th century in England. Fabric bottom with nailheads. Versatile seat can work in two directions.
No obvious markings on the bottom of the base or anywhere on the pieces.
In very good condition. Gentle wear consistent with age and use.
This bench would be a perfect place to pause or experience parlay at a party.
