About the Item
19th century mahogany window seat from England. The handles resting on the top are hand turned and mirror the turnings on the legs. They are turned in a flat spool manner and add a lovely dimension to the seat of the window seat. The seat is made from a single board, and has a beveled edge, following down to a simple scalloped apron with a turned lozenge for an elegant simple decoration. The window seat is supported on wonderfully hand turned legs.
