This outstanding Biedermeier bench, crafted in Vienna around 1825, is a remarkable example of early 19th-century design—timeless, refined, and full of quiet character.
Made from solid walnut, the piece showcases the natural beauty of the wood’s deep grain, enriched by a warm, hand-applied French polish that has developed a glowing patina over two centuries.
