About the Item

19th century French bench with arms. The frame is made from walnut, and has two hand carved and shaped scrolled arms, resting on fluted supports. The seat has been newly upholstered in linen and finished with single welt decoration. The seat is supported on a gorgeous frame, which terminates in fluted legs, joined by cross stretchers with molded edges. The piece is raised on hand turned feet. The seat measures 18 inches in height.
