This lovely bench is a wonderful example of Swedish Gustavian craftsmanship with turned finials and feet adding to the timeless appeal and style. The professional newly applied white painted finish has been gently distressed, revealing the pine below while adding to the aged grace of the bench. Please note the foam seat covered in linen fabric is simply stapled in place to demonstrate what this bench may look like when properly upholstered (The simple fabric and foam will be included with purchase). See photo that shows the plank seat is removeable vs. hinged as this bench originally served as a type of spare trundle bed. This bench has been restored and is solid/stable; all nicks, scratches, distress, aged separation and signs of wear are commensurate with age and do not impact the function nor beauty of this lovely Swedish pine bench.
