Spectacular design with beautifully carved crowned winged griffon center cartouche and cherubs holding garlands of fruit...lower single drawer is concealed in base~~carved sphinx-like creatures with volute scrolled feet~~this is a true work of art! Beautiful entry, foyer or hall "statement piece" for today's home~~high quality detailed craftsmanship of the era Measures: 54" tall x 47.5" wide x 20" deep Seat height from floor is 22.25" tall Heavy, solid and sturdy~~rich walnut patina Direct from France c. 1880s.
