About the Item

The details on this ornately carved wood hall bench make it a piece to be coveted. The design has a very Spanish or Renaissance Revival feel. The beautifully turned legs and carved wood details are stunning. The back rest is embossed with a rampant lion crest, a common heraldic symbol found in various European coat of arms. Bench would be perfect in an entry or hall. Bench is sold in as found, antique condition. The bench is solid structurally. The frame and seat do show signs of age and patina from use, adding to the character of the piece. Please see last images.
