About the Item

Art Nouveau ebonised bentwood bench. No 96. Circa 1900. There is no maker's mark, but almost certainly made by Thonet or J&J Kohn in Vienna, Austria. The bench is in good original condition. The seat is intact showing minimal wear in places for its age. Slightly sagged from use. The ebonised finish has some scuff marks and loss of finish in places. Please refer to the photographs. The bench is stable with no loose joints. Delivery is INCLUDED in the price for all areas in MAINLAND England Wales. Delivery is restricted to ground and first floor unless there is a lift the item can fit in. There is an additional charge of £12 per floor for delivery above the first floor via the stairs.
