About the Item
Like the ocean’s mist rising from seas over the forests of the west coast, the Fogbench also seems to be slowly bleached from bottom to top. This functional 60" long wooden bench is formed of hand-dyed solid Canadian White Ash dowel and is supported by a white powder-coated steel frame. Fogbench displays a gradient moving from an opaque white lower seat slat to an oil-finished pure wood backrest.

Hinterland Design
Hinterland Design is a studio that creates unique work for people to use, enjoy and cherish. Each piece is hand made, to order, designed and produced in our Vancouver, Canada studio. We are artists, woodworkers and craftspeople who build using natural materials. Drawing on twenty years’ experience, we believe in and stand behind our techniques, designs and finished products. Each of the six parts that make up this piece fit into one and other and are held together using these forces of strength and stability.
