About the Item
This architectural bench features a monolithic composition with a rectilinear platform and offset leg structure. The frame is constructed from engineered hardwood panels finished in Macassar ebony veneer, joined with mitred corners and supported by a continuous plinth recessed to create a cantilever effect on all visible sides. The base void is proportioned to distribute visual weight toward the ends, while maintaining a center-loaded volume for structural equilibrium. The seat cushion is fully upholstered in high-density foam with a multi-layered core, including memory-grade polyurethane, and finished in camel-tone velvet. The bolster is fixed in position using an integrated cradle notch routed into the rear platform, maintaining alignment without external fasteners. All cushion seams are straight-stitched with tight tolerances and no piping. No hardware is visible. This model is designed for placement against architectural planes or in circulation voids.
