About the Item
Sophisticated modernist design, easily upholstered and/or tufted to suit by buyer. 84" long, 30" deep and 17" tall. Was reupholstered in the early 2000s and in need of a new fabric. Kept in exquisite climate condition, the stainless steel frame has very few marks or scratches. Note that Laverne Originals produced this bench using two methods, one was to bring the arches together, and other to bring the arches together and flawlessly weld the arches to merge into a single support; they are much rarer and sought after as this is a significant endeavor with stainless steel and coveted for its added appeal and appearance. These are often used as daybeds. The framing for the fabric is in pristine condition and it will be easy for an upholsterer to put new fabric on and add tufted buttons if they wish. Feet are adjustable to about 1/2". Label no longer present.

Multipurpose Furniture. We do not know exactly what this is. It could be a display table being 17.5" tall or it could be a seating arrangement with tables. Or it could be a cocktail table or merchandise display table. The smaller black laminate tops are 12" and the larger rosewood laminate tops are 17.75". It is overall 29" deep and 59.25" wide. It was purchased years ago from a family who owned a Lightolier store and had all the built-ins and seating done by Harvey Probber, and given the construction, it would be consistent. Especially the rubber feet at each stem is very much seen on Harvey Probber pieces.
