BEAM LOW by Mogg, designed by Damien Gernay, is a low bench crafted from a reclaimed antique wooden beam, paired with metal elements finished in lead-grey paint. The intentionally untreated surface of the wood preserves its raw, rustic character, allowing the material’s expressive power to emerge fully. Knots, cracks, and natural irregularities are not defects but defining features that make each piece unique.
This low bench represents a contemporary interpretation of seating, born from the dialogue between memory and modern design.
