About the Item
Very cool Danish bench or settee from around late 1960's to early 1970's. It is very much in the brutalist style of Henry Kjærnulf, but we are not able to ascertain if it is really by him. It is not marked for one and we have been unable to identify it from any of the catalogs from the time. This style with carved oak was very popular for a short time around 1970 with Kjærnulf's iconic Razorblade chair being probably the most famous. This is in very good condition with very good color and grain. Quarter-sawn white oak with just minor patina and signs of wear. Overall very good condition. We are able to reupholster this piece on a COM basis at a very competitive price.
