About the Item

Crafted in the Czech Republic circa 1920, this rustic gym bench features a sturdy rectangular frame raised on four wide, angled pine legs capped with blue and black painted metal hoof feet. The top is upholstered with its original hand-stitched brown leather, richly aged with a beautifully supple patina and natural wear from decades of use. The bench remains structurally sound, offering both charm and authenticity with its combination of utilitarian construction and warm, timeworn finishes. Versatile and full of character, this early 20th-century piece could serve as a hallway bench, an accent at the foot of a bed, or a long coffee table in a casual living space.
