This English walnut bench dates to the mid-20th century and is executed in the Jacobean Revival style, drawing on earlier English furniture traditions through its use of turned supports, strong horizontal stretchers, and architectural framing. The long rectangular form is supported by multiple turned legs connected by closely spaced turned stretchers, creating a visually rhythmic and structurally robust base.
