About the Item

An English circa 1830 George IV, William IV regency style solid mahogany hall bench or window seat of long and narrow rectangular form with exquisite patina having top with turned cylindrical bolsters each end above flat seat-rails joining tapering baluster-turned legs. Wonderfully used as originally intended or chicly used at the foot of a bed or as a narrow coffee table in front of a sofa. Seat width between bolsters is 43.25". Provenance: Private Southampton, NY estate collection.
