Lovely French Louis XVI style carved mahogany upholstered bench, circa 1920. Gently scrolled arms feature floral carving on the top with carved detail flowing down to the all-around beaded apron with rosettes on the corners and tapered fluted legs ending in acanthus leaf garnish above rounded square feet. Upholstered in a classic French style striped and floral fabric in muted rose, cream and hints of green.
Versatile in size and well proportioned, this bench may easily fit into many spaces providing both beauty and comfort. Great as a window bench, in a dressing room or entryway or as a statement accent in any room. A timeless piece which will pair beautifully with many interior styles.
