About the Item

Gor bench by Arturo Verástegui Dimensions: D 40 x W 120 x H 40 cm Materials: wood, leather, bronze. Bench made of lacquered polished wood with bronce handles, seating in leather. Arturo Verástegui has been the director and founder of BREUER since 2015. Arturo began his career in the world of furniture at the beginning of the 1990s, until he founded BREUER with a strong industrial and trade vocation. BREUER is a company specializing in the design and manufacture of custom furniture and spaces, which began in 1993 in Mexico City under the direction of Arturo Verástegui. Since the beginning of the nineties Arturo Verástegui, founder of the company, began his career in the world of furniture: beginning with the distribution and manufacture of residential furniture and with more than a decade of experience in commercial furniture, BREUER was born with a strong industrial and trade vocation. That is only one part of our history, the other began almost 100 years ago with the architect and designer Marcel Breuer, from whom our name arises. But it is not only the name that we take from Marcel Breuer, but also his modernist ideals and the desire to implement the latest in manufacturing technology is his designs.

If sold to the USA it will be wired for the USA for instance. Please contact us. Aroosh and Nitush Mahipal, the creative minds behind Nitush-Aroosh, were born and raised in New Delhi, India, amidst a vibrant cultural and artistic milieu. Their parents instilled in them a love of beauty and creativity from a young age, and they were fortunate to travel extensively to different parts of the world, where they were exposed to diverse forms of art, design, and architecture. From childhood, Aroosh and Nitush were captivated by the stainless steel available at their family’s factory, spending countless hours creating their toys and honing their skills. This fascination laid the foundation for their future design and art endeavors, eventually leading to the birth of Nitush-Aroosh. The Mahipal brothers use innovative techniques to create a crumbled effect on stainless steel, resulting in sculptural pieces that appear to be made of a different material altogether. Their sculptural objects, including furniture, lights, sculptures, and wall installations, are carefully crafted to invite the viewers to embark on self-discovery and introspection. The Mahipal brother’s maiden international art exhibition at the Marbella Art...

Balanço Bench by Rodrigo Ohtake, Brazilian Contemporary Design
By Rodrigo Ohtake
Located in Sao Paulo, SP
The Balanço Bench was created by the Brazilian contemporary designer Rodrigo Ohtake, in 2019. The mix of materials is the differential in this series. While wood is used as a seat, a metal plate, thick and curved, raises the first material from the ground in a light way and with minimal contact, both with the floor and with the wood. The structure is made of stainless steel and Cumaru Wood. Definitely a one of a kind and unique piece. Graduated at FAU / USP in 2009, with a period of studies at the Polytechnic of Milan, Rodrigo Ohtake is always in search of his own architectural style. Passionate about colors and free forms, he collaborated with architects Mario Biselli, Alvaro Puntoni, and Frenchman Patrick Jouin, in addition to working with his father, Ruy, from 2008 to 2016. In addition to working in the offices, he participated as a curatorial assistant in the exhibitions "Viver na Floresta", curated by Abílio Guerra, "O Coração da Cidade: Invention of Spaces" by Júlio Katinsky...
