About the Item
Introducing a bench into the Barrow Collection was the first evolution of the design and came quite naturally to the studio. This piece takes the language of the dining table and reinterprets its proportions and contexts. Pulling the legs from the center to the edges of the piece lets viewers fully appreciate the bench’s precision and form. One begins to understand these shapes in a new way – different from how they are viewed with the dining table. The Barrow Bench offers its environment a versatile, sculptural moment.
