Italian neoclassical hall bench. Large and handsomely proportioned cassapanca / walnut bench in two parts with upper dentil carved trim around arms and paneled back. All fitted into commodious lidded bench raised on deeply carved lion paws. Italy, circa 1800.
Dimensions: 62” long x 20” deep x 35.5” high; seat interior is 43” wide x 16.25” deep x 19.5” high.
