About the Item

A very long and sought after Regency mahogany hall bench, with oversized shaped arm rests featuring carved shells to the fronts and a well figured cut of mahogany timber to the seat. Raised on a solid frame with turned legs and terminating in bun feet. Wonderful colour, patina and timber. In excellent original condition with no breaks or repairs. Circa 1820. H: 53 cm (20 7/8") W: 173 cm (68 1/8") D: 36 cm (14 3/16")
