Oak and steel bench Henry M. Sherwood, Chicago 1900 This red oak-and-steel bench is from the renown Henry M. Sherwood Company that manufactured furniture in Chicago. Circa 1900. This bench underwent a complete refinishing, then simply varnished for a natural sheen that embellishes the natural red oak. Whether it's used indoors or outdoors, this bench makes a strong statement: simple and simply beautifully designed. Bonus: It's comfortable!
