Circa 1920's hand made bench by Marshall Laird Los Angeles.
This is a wonderful oak bench with a beveled edge around the top and pegged construction, following down to a carved apron and hand turned legs, joined by simple stretchers.
Marshall Laird was one of the top furniture designers in California during the 1920`s and 30`s. His furniture can be found in the most prestigious historic homes in the greater Los Angeles area. His pieces are increasing in value due to their excellent quality and craftsmanship.
