About the Item

Originally acquired at the iconic New Preston, Connecticut design shop J. Seitz. A wonderful old bench with arched serpentine top and turned spindle back and supports. With a plain plank pine seat with nails, raised on turned legs with serpentine skirt rail in front and shaped ones on the sides, with a flat stretcher across the back. The whole in old worn and chipped blue paints down to the original natural wood for a great antique look. Dimensions: L. 47 1/2", H. 44", Depth 20 1/2", seat H. 18 1/2" Condition: Please see the photos for details of the condition. There are some stable age cracks to the seat, but it is in good antqiue condition.
