Wimbledon-Furniture Wimbledon-Furniture is delighted to offer for sale this stunning pair of circa 1800 original French Fruitwood trestle benches Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only, for an accurate quote please send me your postcode A very good looking and well-made, hand-sawn pair of trestle benches, these were designed for a providential refectory table and are absolutely sublime. The timber is fruitwood which was substantially more expensive than oak and pine, its harder wearing and lasts generations Being such long single planks of the wood the timber has twisted over the centuries, the benches have old repairs to correct the movement under the feet and they are good and solid to sit on We have cleaned waxed and polished them from top to bottom, there are normal patina marks here and there, old repairs as mentioned, they are lovely to touch and sit on Dimensions Height:- 48.5cm Width:- 201cm Depth:- 18cm top only, 35cm at the feet Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask Any questions please feel free to ask before you bid This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses SW19-3BE, we can have it delivered nationwide to include Scotland Wales and Ireland.
