About the Item

An elegant pair of French 19th-century Louis XVI st. patinated wood benches. The pair are raised on six circular fluted tapered legs ending with a topie shaped feet while at the top is a concave band with a beaded ring. Above each leg are charming block rosettes flanking the apron which displays a recessed foliate panel between mottled bands. The pair are finished on all sides and can be placed in the center of a room.
