About the Item

This highly elegant pair of benches is in Louis XVI style, made in the mid-19th century. The four legs are tapered in a truncated pyramidal shape, and the band is decorated with polychrome carvings with floral motifs interspersed with decorative elements depicting faces. The relief treatment, type of lacquering, and perfect proportions let us confidently attribute these two benches to piedmont and specifically Turin. No description provided. This artwork is shipper from Rome.
