Product Description
BEAM by Mogg, designed by Damien Gernay, is a TV bench crafted from a reclaimed antique wooden beam, combined with metal shelves finished in lead-grey paint. The rustic appearance of the wood, intentionally left untreated, enhances its expressive value and material authenticity. Natural cracks, knots, and irregularities are to be considered distinctive features, making each piece unique.
Conceived as a contemporary reinterpretation of the TV bench, BEAM is born from the dialogue between memory and modern design. The central beam in reclaimed antique oak, shaped by time, becomes the protagonist of the piece, bringing warmth and character to the space. The two metal shelves introduce visual balance and an industrial touch, contrasting elegantly with the raw wood.
Designed to be both functional and sculptural, BEAM works as a TV unit or bench, offering a stable and generous surface for audiovisual devices and everyday objects.
