About the Item

A large 19th century French carved walnut Bergere armchair in the Louis XVI style. This beautifully carved bergere has rams heads carved flowers, gadrooning and round tapering fluted legs. It does not have a seat cushion but it decks at 13" and the old cushion mark on the fabric is about 17-18". This chair is sold for the frame only as it needs to be reupholstered.
