About the Item

19th Century Regency ebonised carved library chair with needlepoint back and seat, of solid wood construction and finely carved details. The arms of the chair terminate in carved lion masks and the legs terminate in four hairy paw feet. It features a turned stretcher between the front legs and carved nail head and scrolling detailing on the back rest. Circa 1815.
