About the Item

A pair of Empire / Biedermeier plum wood from circa 1815, newly upholstered with new fabric in classicist style. The armrests, backrest and seat are upholstered. The upholstery fabric is with gold threads so that the optic is dreamlike. The armrests are decorated with swans. Very well restored and polished by hand. The rare plum wood looks like a mixture of mahogany, walnut and cherrywood.
